Château Ducru-Beaucaillou
The Grand Cru Classé Château Ducru-Beaucaillou in the Médoc appellation Saint-Julien has existed since 1720. It has been in the hands of the Borie family since 1942 and now for three generations.
Like the impressive château visible from afar, the wine is very majestic and hedonistic. In contrast to its great adversary Léoville Las Cases, elegance and finesse tend to predominate here. In 2020, the whole thing culminated in a beguiling wine that touches all the senses - lush and delicate at the same time. The floral fruit is supported by ripe, soft tannins. Ducru benefits enormously from this vintage and is celebrating its 300th anniversary with a very special bottle!
