The 2019 "Maya' from Dalle Valle can boast this extremely rare honour. 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, supplemented by around 40% Cabernet Franc, form the basis for Dalla Valle's flagship wine, which is named after the daughter of the founders who now works there as director. A wine monument of the highest elegance and intensity with a firework of flavours that defies conventional wine descriptions. A solitaire that we would not pair with any food. Instead, we recommend peace and quiet and time for long and highly immersive hours full of pleasurable, vibrant energy - accompanied at best only by the company of a good friend.
