Château Haut Bailly Cru Classé de Graves 2019

Bordeaux, France, Red wine, wine cuvée
0.75 l

This fantastic 2019 "Haut Bailly" is the typical iron fist in a velvet glove. The wine is concentrated with a lot of tannin and acidity. However, everything is wonderfully balanced and embedded in a gentle texture and the tannins are so fine that it feels as if you could enjoy it tomorrow. But you should give it some time, something great is emerging here!

Château Haut-Bailly

Haut Bailly is one of the oldest chateaus in Bordeaux. It is located in the Pessac-Léognan appellation, in the north of the Graves growing region.

Naturally, there have been several owners over the past 500 years. The 1998 takeover by Robert G. Willmers, a banker from Buffalo, who died in 2017, is particularly influential for today's estate.
