Domaine Fabien Coche Meursault blanc 2021

An organically certified Chardonnay from the Meursault-Charmes Premier Cru vineyard. Its "technical details': vines aged between 80 and 90 years, a planting density of 10,000 vines per hectare, a yield of around 35 hl per hectare, harvested by hand, of course, and transported to the estate in small crates. Fabien Coches' uncompromising pursuit of quality is also evident in the cellar work. Fermentation is spontaneous, ageing takes place for around 1.5 years in barriques, 30% of which are first-fill, and the wine is finally bottled, unsurprisingly, unfined and unfiltered. The result is an exemplary Meursault Premier with a radiant golden appearance and seductive white-fleshed fruit with tropical and citrus notes.
