Meanwhile, one has to wonder whether the deuxieme Cru Classé from Margaux is really "only? number three (behind Château Margaux and Palmer). Under the aegis of the Chanel Group, the wine has experienced a breathtaking rise. Even the old vintages (try 1985 today!) are great. Now it has become even more precise and complex. The finesse, minerality and balance are simply superb! This is not to be missed... 97-98 JS
