The St. Julien appellation, which probably stands for the elegance and finesse of Bordeaux like no other, is home to many great cru classés. Gruaud Larose has always stood for the attributes of this commune. The wines are extremely precise, highly elegant and have a sensual aroma after a few years of ageing. The 2021 pleases with a cool, dark berry fruit and beautiful florality. Total harmony prevails here. Especially in this vintage!

Château Gruaud Larose

Gruaud Larose is a château with over 250 years of history. In the middle of the 18th century, a priest named Gruaud bought the vineyard. The striking tower that flanks the impressive château on the high plateau of St Julien Beychevelle also goes back to him.
