Tenuta San Guido Sassicaia 2008
A great vintage for Sassicaia! When we tasted it at a tasting, we couldn't believe how youthful this king of the Supertuscans still is...but it's already so much fun! Everything is in harmony. Huge fruit on the palate, plus liquorice, refreshing florality and beautifully matured truffle notes. A monumental wine that easily has another 20 years ahead of it!
