Beaulieu Vineyard
"Quelle beau lieu" - as legend has it - was the exclamation of Fernande de Latours when she and her husband Georges first saw the now world-famous Rutherford Vineyard in Napa Valley in 1900.
The 2021 Cabernet Reserve Georges de Latour from Beaulieu Vineyard is an exceptional and also quite typical representative of wines from California. The lush aromas of blackcurrants, cedar and mint are supported by silky tannins and a fine acidity. The wood is present but extremely well integrated. This powerhouse from the Napa Valley will need some time, but will provide the very highest "Cab? pleasure... typical California!
