100% hand-picked, exclusively estate-grown grapes, aged in the traditional, "wine-green? (i.e. flavor-neutral) Mosel fuder. The 2019 "Saarburger Rausch? is a Riesling Auslese from Devonian slate that could hardly be more typical of its region: 97.8 g/l sugar meets 6.6 g/l acidity and a modest 8% alcohol. Dense and creamy, this wine presents itself as a sweet temptation. Intense fruit (pineapple, apricot, pear) combines with orange blossom and fine raisins. The overall impression is complex, with both texture and finesse, and shines with brilliance.
