A tribute to the great Hamburg architect Alexis de Chateauneuf. After the great fire in Hamburg (1842), he designed the Alster Arcades on Rathausmarkt. The Hanse Lounge has been located above it since 2003. The wine for it was made by top winemaker Louis Barruol from the Rhône Valley. Blend: 50% Grenache, 30% Mourvedre, 15% Syrah, 5% Cinsault. The grapes come from the "La Crau? plot, a classic par excellence: aromas of cinnamon, garrigue, truffle, tapenade, cherry, and marzipan. An elegant powerhouse. You read that right. Power and finesse are combined in this bottle.
