The 2019 Les Épenots embodies classic Pommard structure with rare elegance. Black cherry, plum, laurel, violet and fine spices characterise the bouquet. Dense and precisely structured on the palate, with fresh, supportive acidity and silky, firm tannins. The long finish combines dark fruit, earth and a hint of graphite to create a deep tension. Powerful but never heavy – a wine of contour, balance and Burgundian clarity.
