The magnum bottling of this Pomerol shows rare depth and finesse. Dark fruit, truffle, cedar, and violet on the nose. Smooth and precise on the palate, with fine tannins, clear acidity, and mineral length. The magnum extends the development until 2058+.

Château du Domaine de L'Eglise

The winery was first mentioned in 1589 as part of a hospice and is actually located within sight of the church of Pomerol. Even if it is no longer the church after which the vineyard was originally named. it was acquired by the Castéja family, the owners of the Borie-Manoux trading house, in 1973.
