A grape variety one wouldn't necessarily expect to find in Gascony: Pinot Noir from south-west France, from the Domaine de Pellehaut. Blackcurrant and very ripe strawberry dominate the fruit on the palate, whilst a hint of mint adds a great deal of freshness. Finally, silky-smooth, well-integrated tannins provide body and structure.
