Winery Knewitz Chardonnay Reserve 2023

Although the Knewitz brothers see themselves primarily as Riesling winemakers, it was the "Chardonnay Reserve' that first brought them to prominence around ten years ago. The Chardonnay from the Nieder-Hilbersheimer Steinacker, with its cool, peripheral location and iron ore in the soil, has become increasingly distinctive and refined ever since. Its hallmarks – reductive notes of light gunpowder and flint, combined with hazelnuts, butter fudge, cellar apples, lemons and yellow stone fruit – are also present in the 2023 vintage. A Chardonnay with depth, finesse, elegance and power that stands up to any national or international comparison.
