Weingut Böhme & Töchter Chardonnay Freyburg VDP.Ortswein 2025

Chardonnay is one of the most important grape varieties at Böhme & Töchter. The 2025 VDP.Ortswein combines ripe pear, yellow apple, and a hint of pineapple with citrus zest, herbs, and a subtle nutty spice. Added to this is the cool, stony note typical of the Freyburg shell limestone soils. On the palate, the Chardonnay has a juicy, distinctly full-bodied texture, yet is precisely defined by crisp acidity and salty minerality. The fruit remains understated, while spice and structure dominate the profile. A characterful Chardonnay with drive and depth that, even as an Ortswein, already showcases much of Böhme & Töchter's distinctive style.
