Winery Clemens Busch Marienburg Rothenpfad Reserve VDP.Große Lage Riesling Magnum 2015
The Rothenpfad Reserve has been one of the solitaires from the Rita and Clemens Busch vineyard for several years. These are the best parcels from the red. These are the best plots from the red vineyard, which is characterised by iron oxide, that are used for this Grosse Gewächs, which is aged for two years on the lees. The wine blends reductive notes with those of yellow fruits and red berries, celery stalks and herbs, almonds and kumquats. On the palate, this is an immensely deep, elegant and complex Riesling with fine tannins, a deep salinity and tart, zesty notes. ROBERT PARKER awarded it 97 points.
