Penfolds BIN 389 Cabernet Shiraz 2020

Penfolds "BIN 389" has been around for more than 60 years and has made a significant contribution to the unique reputation of the winery during this time. The wine is often referred to as the "Baby Grange" because the cuvée of Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon is partly matured in barrels in which the "Grange" was previously matured. 33% of the hogsheads are made from American oak, but each is new. The wine really is still a "baby" that will develop superbly over the next 30 years and more. It is one of the great vintages for this wine, which has an enormously dense flavour, structure and length. So it's no wonder that it receives scores of between 95 and 97 points.
