Ridge Estate Monte Bello Magnum 2019

Year after year, the Ridge "Montebello' can reliably count itself among the wine icons produced in California. The 2019 vintage is no exception. 82 % Cabernet Sauvignon, 9 % Merlot, 8 % Petit Verdot and 1 % Cabernet Franc from selected small, individually cultivated parcels - some of them with vines over 100 years old - make up the legendary 2019 "Montebello'. With luscious red fruit, tobacco and espresso on the nose and a seductive plum flavour on the palate, enveloped in soft tannins. The solid acidity provides plenty of freshness, while a hint of liquorice adds tension to the long, mineral finish. A vintage that once again demonstrates the exceptional quality of this site.
