Rosé and sparkling wine – for the summer

As soon as the sun comes out, rosé finally finds its way onto terraces, into glasses and onto tables. Hardly any other style of wine suits this time of year better than rosé. With their blend of Mediterranean lightness, subtle spice and salty freshness, rosés today offer an enormous variety of styles: from an easy-going aperitif to a serious accompaniment to a meal.

Malat Winery

The history of the Malat winery in Kremstal dates back to the 18th century. This means almost 300 years of wine knowledge, from which Michael Malat still benefits today: "Because every vintage is different, there is no recipe. When it comes to upcoming decisions, the experiences of the predecessors are very helpful. Maybe someone had a similar situation, tried something - and the result is handed down."
