Tua Rita Per Sempre 2021

The Per Sempre from the Maremma estate Tua Rita is a special wine. It comes from a special parcel with a high proportion of Galestro and is made from one hundred per cent Syrah, the favourite grape variety of estate founder Virgilo Bisti. It is also quite rare - just 18 rows of vines produce around 3000 bottles per year - far too few for the enormous demand in the international wine world. Because Per Sempre is a great Syrah. Just like the legends of the variety from the Northern Rhone or from the south of Australia. And yet it is independent. Dense and highly complex, full of spicy finesse. The lush Syrah fruit is enveloped in a silky robe of soft tannins. Already accessible now, it will reveal its true greatness more and more in the coming years.
