The Premier Cru Classé B from the top site of the Côte Pavie (Château Pavie right next door) has been one of the superstars of the St.-Émilion appellation for a couple of years. The style is rather modern and the aromas of the 2020 are therefore characterised by ripe dark fruit but very fine and ripe tannins: a great example of a modern interpretation of St.-Émilion.

Château Larcis Ducasse is located not far from the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Saint-Émilion on the plateau of Saint-Émilion. The vineyard, which has been owned by the Gratiot family for more than a hundred years, belongs today to the second highest level in the hierarchy of red wines of Saint-Émilion as Premier Grand Cru Classé B.
