And secondly, the Grand Vin is now made exclusively from the best parcels facing the Gironde. These two measures bring the deuxième Cru Classé high in the north of the Médoc to the level of the Premier Cru in terms of quality! Everything is right here... incredible pressure on the palate, ripe and silky tannins, complex aromas of cassis and dark cherry with floral hints, plus fine acidity and minerality on the intense finish.
