Founded in the Middle Ages by the Order of St Martin, the vineyard was acquired by Michel Bécot in 1969 and has seen many changes. But today the wines of Beau-Séjour Bécot are better than ever.

In recent years, the Premier Grand Cru Classé winery has consistently chosen the path of an elegant St. Emilion style with a great deal of finesse. The 2022 demonstrates this to unprecedented perfection. The vines stand on the best terroir on limestone soils and produce a mineral and fresh floral wine to fall in love with. Rather red-berried with a refreshing, almost Burgundian finesse. Antonio Galloni (formerly Wine Advocate) from Vinous is equally enthusiastic and awarded 100 points! At this price, one of the special recommendations in the 2022 vintage!
