Château Ausone St. Emilion 2024
The very small vineyard with just 7 hectares high up on a limestone cliff right next to the small town of St. Emilion is often difficult to see through en primeur. In this somewhat leaner vintage, it is already very open. Very dark fruit and spices on the nose, lots of pressure on the palate and a supporting acidity and minerality make for a dense, complex overall impression. This is great stuff!
