Château Ausone St. Emilion 2025

With up to seven 100-point ratings, Château Ausone 2025 is already considered one of the absolute icons of the vintage. The cuvée, comprising 65% Cabernet Franc, 30% Merlot and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon, combines the uniqueness of this limestone terroir with exceptional precision. The bouquet evokes ripe cherries, redcurrants, violets, rose petals and lilac, complemented by graphite and herbal notes. On the palate, the wine is both concentrated and weightless, carried by vibrant acidity, ultra-fine tannins, impressive freshness and the salty minerality typical of Ausone. The high proportion of perfectly ripened Cabernet Franc lends additional tension, depth and aromatic complexity. A great Ausone that fits seamlessly into the estate's line-up of legendary vintages.
