Hardly any other part of the wine world is evolving as rapidly at the moment as the sector of non-alcoholic alternatives. On the one hand, there are the many so-called "proxies' – drinks that attempt to replicate the aromatic depth of wine using a wide variety of natural ingredients; on the other hand, there are wines that are still based on alcoholic fermentation and are only de-alcoholised afterwards. In between lies Leon Gold with his Traubensecco. Whilst this is not based on dealcoholisation, it is at least made from the juice of Muscat and Müller-Thurgau grapes. Added to this are lemon juice and a complex herbal extract, which brings notes of lavender, rosemary and elderflower.
