Winery Vi Nicola CINQUE GRADI 2025

The name "Cinque Gradi' already hints at the wine's defining characteristic: this white wine contains a mere 5% alcohol by volume – yet this is achieved not through technical de-alcoholisation, but solely through the timing of the harvest and the work carried out in the vineyard. The grapes come from high-altitude vineyards in the Alta Langa, where the comparatively cool climate naturally results in a slower ripening process. In the glass, the "Cinque Gradi?, made from the Moscato grape variety, is pale, light and decidedly lively. Aromatically, it evokes citrus fruits, green apples, white blossoms and fresh herbs. On the palate, the wine is slender, straightforward and lively, underpinned by a crisp acidity and an almost dance-like lightness.
