Champagne Pommery Cuvée Louise Parcelle 2008

The "Cuvée Louise' 2008 is Pommery's prestige cuvée and pays homage to the great Louise Pommery. Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from the Grand Cru vineyards of Avize, Cramant and Aÿ are blended, following a long maturation period in the historic chalk cellars, to create a champagne of exceptional elegance. The nose opens with delicate toasted notes, citrus fruits and dried fruit, followed by hazelnut, orange peel and a distinct chalky minerality. On the palate, the lively vibrancy of the great 2008 vintage combines with a creamy, silky texture and impressive precision. The long finish, with notes of apricot, quince, honey, citrus and salty minerality, makes this cuvée a great, timelessly elegant prestige champagne.
