Domaine Antoine Jobard Pommard 2023

Vines averaging around 50 years old from the lieux-dits La Rue au Porc, Les Combes and Les Petits Noizons provide the lion's share of the grapes for Jobard's Pommard-Village. Its aromatic profile is characterised by redcurrant, cherry, blackberry and a pronounced earthiness. The latter gradually gives way to increasingly floral notes as the wine is allowed to breathe in the glass. On the palate, this Pommard is ripe – including in its tannin structure. The complex and long finish reveals not only fruit and grip but also spicier notes such as dark chocolate and a hint of pepper. Nevertheless, this Pommard shows no sign of heaviness, retaining its distinctly fresh character right through to the finish.
