The Jerez wine region is located in the south-west of Spain, in the Andalusia region, close to the Atlantic coast. It is best known for its city of Jerez de la Frontera, which is considered the heart of the sherry-producing region.
The climatic conditions and soils such as Albariza favour the cultivation of the Palomino grape.
