Château Mouton Rothschild 1er GCC Pauillac 2018
James Suckling compares the 2018 Mouton with the legendary 1945 and 1959 vintages and awards 100 points (as does the Decanter)! Here we find the beguiling nose of the 1959 and probably also the longevity of the 1945. Everything is extremely dense and complex: the black fruit, the silky tannins and the almost salty minerality. A great Mouton for decades.
