Château Beychevelle
built in 1565 by Bishop François of Foix-Candale, Beychevelle is considered one of the oldest Châteaux in the Médoc. Today, the estate in the Saint-Julien appellation belongs to the Japanese spirits group Suntory.
The impressive château of this 4ème cru classé with its beautiful garden is located in the south of the St. Julien appellation. The wines are always very hedonistic and elegant, very St. Julien. You can always enjoy Beychevelle after just a few years and it is always a very sensual pleasure. The 2021 is no exception with its elegant, dark and juicy fruit.
