Acquired by Château Lafite Rothschild in 1990, this top Pomerol vineyard is located on one of the best terroirs near Petrus and Cheval Blanc. After a powerful phase around 10 years ago, the estate has now returned to a more elegant style. Despite the rather lush vintage, the 2020 presents itself with great finesse and deep complexity. Fine black fruit, polished tannins and a floral finish make it a great Pomerol!

The 22-hectare Château L'Evangile is located on the border with St. Emilion, right between Château Cheval Blanc and Petrus. It belongs to a small group of privileged wine estates on the Pomerol plateau, the best terroir in the appellation.
