Bodegas La Horra Corimbo
Behind the name Bodegas La Horra is none other than the well-known duo Mario Rotlant and Carmen Daurella, who founded the now legendary Bodegas RODA in Rioja in 1991.
Corimbo is a single-varietal Tempranillo or Tinta del Paìs, as it is known in Ribero del Duero. It comes from young, organically grown and non-irrigated vines. This deep ruby-red Tempranillo is an inspiring example of the outstanding winemakers and Tempranillo specialists Mario Rotlant and Carmen Daurella. With the Corimbo, they have created an extremely dense, full-bodied and concentrated Ribera del Duero with an intense aroma of cherries and wild berries, wild flowers, herbs, a hint of spices and the finest wood. On the palate, the deep fruit is combined with a distinctive but ripe and fine-grained tannin. As it comes from a relatively cool vintage, it is fresh, very elegant and harmonious. A fantastic wine with 94 points from ROBERT PARKER!
