Château de La Dauphine Fronsac 2019

Bordeaux, France, Red wine, wine cuvée
0.75 l

The Fronsac appellation is one of the oldest wine regions in the whole of Bordeaux. Very original wines full of character grow here, very close to the star appellations of Pomerol and Saint-Émilion - but at much more favourable prices. Château de la Dauphine was, as the name suggests, the vineyard of the French princess in the past. Here, the characters of Saint-Émilion and Pomerol combine to create a unique, powerful yet elegant wine with a great deal of finesse. Especially in great years like 2019, it shows all its class. Be sure to try it!

Château de la Dauphine

As early as the 18th century, the wines from Fronsac near Libourne enjoyed an excellent reputation and, with the flourishing maritime trade, also found a loyal international audience. The price level at the time was even higher than that of Saint Émilion and Pomerol.
