Château Lafite Rothschild 1er GCC Pauillac Magnum 2018

Bordeaux, France, Red wine, wine cuvée
1.50 l, Item no. 10116

Lafite Rothschild has always been great in the warm vintages. Just think of the legendary 1959, 1990 and 2003 vintages, and 2018 is no different. What is arguably the best wine of the vintage already impressed with its incredible elegance and unique finesse during the primeur tasting on site. Typical Pauillac notes such as cassis, fine tobacco and cedar wood combine with Lafite's famous violet nose. This centenary event with 100 Parker points, on the 150th anniversary of the owner family of all things, makes this monument a must-have for Lafite fans, Bordeaux lovers and collectors (anniversary edition) alike!

Château Lafite-Rothschild

There are supposed to be people who have no interest whatsoever in wine. And even they "of course" know the name "Lafite-Rothschild" and know that it is one of the most famous wineries of all. Some may also have picked up that a bottle from the estate of Thomas Jefferson fetched a price of 160,000 dollars at an auction in 1985.
