The Tement family mainly produces dry wines from the Sauvignon Blanc variety. But in some years it simply makes sense to also make sweet wines from this aromatic variety. And of course they have also mastered this art. The "BA.T? is made from around 70% healthy and 30% botrytis-infested Sauvignon Blanc grapes. The result is a dream wine reminiscent of dates, grapefruit and apricots, candied ginger, mint, elderflower and citrus peel. On the palate, the yellow fruit is complemented by honeydew melon. The sweetness is perfectly balanced by a fresh acidity. The Beerenauslese is an elegant, concentrated, complex and, in the best sense of the word, entertaining wine of great liveliness.
The Tement family winery is located both in Styria and on the Slovenian side. But there is a common idea for both parts: father Manfred Tement and his sons Armin and Stefan are concerned with clearly bringing out the differences of each site.
