Family winery Tement Südsteiermark DAC Muschelkalk Magnum 2021
Even the entry-level Chardonnay from Tement, called "Muschelkalk?, is a serious, impressively complex wine that comes from biodynamically cultivated limestone marl soils. It is juicy, ripe and full on the one hand, but precise and clear on the other. Matured in large and small barrels, it is reminiscent of ripe apples and pears with peel, cape gooseberries and coriander seeds. On the palate, the fruit is combined with an elegant, ripe acidity, which gives the Morillon a silky texture together with a light phenolic note. It still has plenty of potential, but is already very harmonious.
