Château Calon Segur 3ème GCC St. Estèphe 2023
The 3ème Cru Classé winery from the far north of the Medoc has changed its style somewhat in recent years. The wines are now more concentrated and denser than they were 10-15 years ago. Stricter selection and more precise cellar techniques make Calon Segur a serious rival to its neighbors Montrose and Cos d'Estournel. Complex aromas of dark fruit, intense graphite notes and an invigorating acidity are impressive evidence of the ambitious new style!
