Potzinger Sauvignon Blanc Czamillonberg Trockenbeerenauslese 2017

Südsteiermark, Austria, Sweet wine, Sauvignon Blanc
0.375 l

The Czamillonberg is a vineyard in Leuschach directly on the border with Slovenia. The south-facing vineyards are characterized by clay marl, shell limestone and loose brown earth. Potzinger produces a Trockenbeerenauslese from Sauvignon Blanc here in years like 2017, which are predestined for sweet wines. The light amber-colored wine is long and intense and is reminiscent of candied stone fruit, citrus fruits and ginger, honey and a hint of mango. On the palate, the sweetness combines with deep minerality and fine acidity to create a complex experience.
