Winery Wittmann Brunnenhäuschen Riesling Auslese 2022

The Brunnenhäuschen, one of Philipp Wittmann's parade sites in Westhofen, is known for its Grosse Gewächse, but also produces outstanding Auslese wines. Such as the one from 2022, which takes advantage of the high altitude and late ripening of the grapes, which come from clay marl, limestone and limestone rock, as well as a vein of terra rossa. Sweetness and acidity are perfectly balanced here. The "Brunnenhäuschen" is bursting with yellow fruit and citric notes, a creamy texture and fine minerality.
