Château de Saint Cosme Gigondas Le Claux 2021
The ancient vines of this walled single vineyard stand entirely on shell limestone, which gives the pure Grenache a special minerality. Here, the Grenache takes on almost Burgundian forms. Juicy, dark fruit and plenty of finesse lend the wine a nobility that is rarely found in the southern Rhône Valley. A cult wine!
